All dreams... are not just dreams

For as long as she can remember, Amber has been waiting for the day she can finally escape her dysfunctional family. One day, a mysterious young man with surreal violet eyes breaks into her home, offering the very opportunity she has always craved. He claims she is not who she believes she is, that her parents are not her real parents and, if that weren't enough, that she doesn't even belong in this dimension.

She dismisses him as a lunatic, until she spots something among his belongings: something she has seen before in the nightmares that recently began haunting her—those terrible, vivid dreams that have kept her awake for weeks.
